Cornate di Gerfalco is a scenic mountain area in the Metalliferous Hills of southern Tuscany, located near the medieval village of Gerfalco in the municipality of Montieri.

Rising to about 1,060 meters, it is one of the highest peaks in the region and offers spectacular views over the Tuscan countryside. The area is part of a protected nature reserve known for its forests, rocky landscapes, rich wildlife, and important geological features. It has a long history of mining, and the distinctive pink-red stone found here was used in several historic buildings, including parts of Siena Cathedral.

Today, Cornate di Gerfalco is a popular destination for hiking, nature walks, mountain biking, and wildlife observation. Its combination of natural beauty, panoramic viewpoints, archaeological sites, and traditional Tuscan landscapes makes it one of the most attractive outdoor destinations in the Maremma region.
