Fortress “Storgozia” is an ancient Roman and early Byzantine fortress located in Kaylaka Park near the city of Pleven, Bulgaria.

It began as a Roman road station and military post, likely built on or near an older Thracian settlement, and grew into an important fortified community as the Roman Empire faced increasing invasions during the 3rd and 4th centuries. At the beginning of the 4th century, the settlement was enclosed by strong defensive walls and included residential buildings, towers, gates, a public granary, and a large early Christian basilica.

Archaeological discoveries show that the fortress remained inhabited until the end of the 6th century. Today, the ruins of Storgozia are a notable historical and archaeological site where visitors can explore the remains of ancient fortifications and learn about the Roman, Byzantine, and medieval history of the Pleven region.
