Gradina Grižane is the ruin of a medieval castle located above Grižane-Belgrad in the Vinodol region of western Croatia.

Built around the 13th century, it occupied a strategic position overlooking the valley and served as an important stronghold for controlling the surrounding area. The castle was owned by the powerful Frankopan noble family and functioned as an administrative and defensive center for their estates in Vinodol.

Its unusual rectangular layout with round corner towers was shaped by the rugged terrain on which it was built. The fortress suffered significant damage during an earthquake in 1323 and gradually fell into ruin. Today, Gradina Grižane is a picturesque historical site surrounded by natural scenery. Visitors can explore the remaining walls and enjoy panoramic views of the Vinodol Valley, making it a rewarding destination for those interested in medieval history, hiking, and local heritage.
