Ham-sur-Heure Castle in Belgium, originally built as a medieval fortress in the 13th century, has undergone many transformations over the centuries.

From 1491 to 1941, it was the property of the notable de Mérode family, followed by ownership by descendants of Charles John d'Oultremont until it was sold to the municipal authorities in 1952. The castle now serves as the town hall for Ham-sur-Heure-Nalinnes, following local government reorganization in 1977.

Architecturally, the castle reflects traditional Walloon styles with fortified walls, a central courtyard, and structural elements from various construction periods. Inside, the castle houses the Rural Life and Crafts Museum, showcasing the region's ancient professions and local folklore, providing visitors with a window into the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The castle remains an important cultural and administrative landmark in the area.
