Kasteel Blauwendael is a historic castle and public park in Waasmunster, a town in East Flanders, Belgium, situated at Kerkstraat 21 near the border with Sint‑Niklaas.

The estate originated in the early 17th century when Pieter de Neve, local governor and high bailiff of the Land of Waas, built a moated mansion in 1607–1608 that was first called “Het Huys int midden van’t Durp” and later “’t Hof van Blauwendael”, and over the centuries it remained in the noble de Neve de Roden family as a centre of their domain.

In the early 19th century, around 1820–1830, the park was laid out in a landscape style, with walking paths, ornamental lawns and a pond, and between 1889 and 1890 the old Hof Blauwendael was replaced by a new, eclectic castle in Flemish Neo‑Renaissance style, designed by architect Jozef De Waele and executed with turrets, stepped gables and interiors in the same style.

After passing to the industrialist Henri de Lovinfosse in the late 1940s, the municipality of Waasmunster bought the castle and park in 1980, opened the park to the public in 1981, and since 1984 has used the building for civic and cultural purposes, including as a wedding hall, exhibition space and home to Waasmunster’s local heritage museum.
