Kasteel Tudor
Bruges, Belgium
Kasteel Tudor in Bruges, Belgium, is a neo-Gothic country house built between 1904 and 1906 in the English Tudor architectural style, commissioned by Stanislas van Outryve d’Ydewalle and designed by Baron Henry Kervyn de Lettenhove.
It is one of the youngest castles in the Bruges Hinterland and is set within a large estate of about 40 hectares, featuring a geometric ornamental garden, a wild garden, and a walled herb garden with over 400 plant species, including medicinal herbs.
The castle and its grounds were bought by the city of Bruges in 1980, and the gardens have been restored to their original concept. Today, the castle serves as a public venue with a restaurant and event space, surrounded by scenic forests and landscaped gardens that blend historical architecture with natural beauty.
