Kasteel Van Hoobrouck-Van Ten Hulle
Deinze, Belgium
Kasteel Van Hoobrouck-Van Ten Hulle is a 19th-century castle located in Landegem, part of Deinze in East Flanders, Belgium. The site was first recorded in 1749 as a structure surrounded by a circular moat. The current brick castle was rebuilt after being destroyed during World War I, maintaining much of its original style.
The castle has been home to several noble families, including the Van Hoobrouck-Van Ten Hulle, De Kerchove d'Ousselghem, and Mahy families. It features two triangular gables, a polygonal turret, and is set within a five-hectare park designed in the English landscape style, complete with ponds and an ice cellar dating back to 1880.
The castle bears a family coat of arms and remains a notable historical site in the region.
