Kaštel Feštetić
Pribislavec, Croatia, Croatia
Kaštel Feštetić is a historic castle in Pribislavec, near Čakovec in northern Croatia.
Originally built in the 16th century, it was first associated with the powerful Zrinski family before later becoming the property of the noble Feštetić family, from whom it takes its name. In the 19th century, the castle was extensively rebuilt in a striking Neo-Gothic style, giving it its distinctive appearance with a tall tower, decorative windows, and ornate architectural details.
Surrounded by a park and gardens, it is often regarded as one of the most beautiful and romantic castles in the Međimurje region. Despite suffering damage during various conflicts over the centuries, Kaštel Feštetić has been repeatedly restored and preserved. Today it remains an important cultural landmark, and recent restoration projects have further enhanced its role as a heritage and tourism destination in northern Croatia.
