Kula Čačvina, also known as Fort Čačvina, is a medieval fortress located on a hill above the village of Čačvina near Trilj in inland Dalmatia, Croatia.

Built in a strategic position about 705 meters above sea level, it was used to control important routes linking the Dalmatian coast with inland Bosnia through the Dinaric Alps. The fortress was first recorded in the 14th century and was ruled by several powerful families and states, including the Nelipić family, the Frankopans, the Ottomans, and the Venetians.

Its design features two towers connected by a long courtyard, with the larger eastern tower still standing as the best-preserved part of the complex. Today, Kula Čačvina survives as an atmospheric ruin and protected cultural monument. Overlooking the surrounding mountains and valleys, it offers visitors a fascinating glimpse into Croatia’s medieval past and the region’s long history of trade, travel, and defense.
