Luneur Park in Rome, Italy, is the city's historic amusement park and Italy's oldest still-operating one, opened in 1953 in the EUR district during the Agricultural Exhibition and made permanent for the 1960 Olympics, spanning over 60,000 square meters with a giant Ferris wheel as its iconic landmark.
After closing in 2008 for safety upgrades, it reopened in 2016 fully renovated as a family-friendly "Garden of Wonders" amid greenery, featuring 21 attractions including a 2,100 m² Splash Zone water park with slides, classic rides, shows, and eco-themed workshops on sustainability and biodiversity.
Open daily except Mondays from afternoon into late night, it hosts seasonal events like Halloween parties and Christmas villages, easily reached by Metro B or car near Via delle Tre Fontane.
