Mazures Gîte is a unique holiday home in the village of Pepinster in the Belgian Ardennes, originally the former 1837–38 conciergerie (gate-house) of the Château des Mazures, now fully renovated into a modern, comfortable vacation dwelling while retaining its medieval-style exterior and protected monument status.

The gîte is located in the left wing and tower of the estate, reached by crossing a small bridge over the river, with the main living room and open kitchen on the ground floor and two bedrooms on the upper floors accessed via two spiral staircases, one of which is a narrow spiral climb, giving the property a distinctive tower-house character.

It accommodates up to four people, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a wood-burning stove, cable TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker, and it offers a private garden with outdoor furniture, barbecue, and parking, while the owners of the nearby Château des Mazures live only about 100 metres away and occasionally use the lane and bridge.

Situated close to the road linking Liège and Verviers but in a quiet riverside setting, the gîte is within walking distance of local promenades and about 1 km from Pepinster’s shops and 6 km from Verviers with its markets and restaurants, making it a convenient base for cycling, hiking, and exploring the wider Ardennes region.
