Oliewenhuis Art Museum in Bloemfontein is an art museum and gallery housed in a 1940s neo-Cape Dutch (neo-Dutch) mansion on Grant’s Hill, originally built as the official residence of the governor general of the Union of South Africa and converted to an art museum in the 1980s.

As a satellite of the National Museum, it focuses on collecting, conserving and exhibiting South African art, with a permanent collection of works by both historical and contemporary South African artists, supplemented by rotating temporary exhibitions.

The building is surrounded by landscaped gardens and natural vegetation, and the museum offers free entry during set opening hours, making it a popular, accessible destination for art lovers who can enjoy indoor galleries, outdoor sculpture, walking paths and a small café.
