Palazzo Besta is one of the finest Renaissance palaces in Lombardy, located in the historic town of Teglio in Valtellina.

Built by the noble Besta family during the late 15th and early 16th centuries, it became an important cultural center where artists, scholars, and intellectuals gathered. The palace is renowned for its elegant courtyard, richly decorated rooms, and outstanding fresco cycles inspired by classical mythology, the Bible, Virgil’s Aeneid, and Ariosto’s Orlando Furioso.
