Palazzo dei Pio is a large Renaissance palace and castle complex located in the heart of Carpi, Emilia-Romagna.

Built and expanded between the 11th and 17th centuries, it was the residence of the influential Pio family, who transformed an earlier medieval fortress into an elegant courtly residence. The complex combines towers, courtyards, fortifications, and richly decorated rooms, making it one of the most significant historic buildings in the region. 

The palace is especially known for its impressive Renaissance architecture, including the grand Courtyard of Honor, frescoed halls, historic towers, and noble apartments. It reflects the cultural and political importance of Carpi during the rule of the Pio family, particularly under Alberto III Pio, who oversaw many of its Renaissance enhancements. Today, Palazzo dei Pio houses several museums dedicated to art, archaeology, local history, and the heritage of the city.
