The Queen's Fort Military Museum in Bloemfontein, South Africa, was originally built in 1848 by the British under Major Henry Douglas Warden after the Battle of Boomplaats to replace Fort Dury.

Named in honor of Queen Victoria, the fort served as a military stronghold and artillery base for the British and later the Free State forces. Over the years, its uses evolved to include a hospital, mental institution, prison, and police headquarters. The fort was rebuilt and expanded in the late 19th century to accommodate soldiers and facilities, and it played significant roles during the Anglo-Boer War and subsequent conflicts.

Today, it functions as a museum showcasing South Africa's military history, highlighting major wars in the Free State region from the 1800s onward, and features extensive collections of weapons, uniforms, medals, and military vehicles such as tanks and cannons. It also educates about South African soldiers' participation in various international conflicts and serves as an important cultural heritage and educational site.
