Rina Castle, also known as Castello di Riva, is a medieval fortified manor located in Ponte dell’Olio in the province of Piacenza.

Built and expanded between the 12th and 13th centuries, it occupied a strategic position along the Nure Valley, helping to control important routes between the Po Plain and the Ligurian coast. Over the centuries, it belonged to several powerful families, including the Del Cairo, Anguissola, Farnese, and Ruspoli families, and played both military and administrative roles in the region.

The castle is distinguished by its imposing 30‑meter tower, medieval walls, and fortified layout. Much of its current appearance comes from restoration work carried out in the late 19th century, which added neo-medieval elements while preserving its historic character. Today, it remains one of the most notable castles of the Piacenza hills, valued for its history, architecture, and commanding position overlooking the surrounding countryside.
