Rocca di Ravaldino is a historic fortress in Forlì, Emilia-Romagna, best known as the stronghold of Caterina Sforza, one of the most famous noblewomen of the Italian Renaissance.

Built on the site of earlier medieval defenses and extensively rebuilt in the late 15th century, the fortress played a major role in protecting the city and became a symbol of local power. The fortress is closely linked to the dramatic events of 1499 and 1500, when Caterina Sforza defended it against the forces of Cesare Borgia.

Its imposing walls, towers, moat, and fortified layout reflect the military architecture of the Renaissance period. Today, Rocca di Ravaldino is one of Forlì’s most important landmarks.
