Roccatederighi is a picturesque medieval hill village in the Maremma area of southern Tuscany, perched on a rocky spur of Mount Sassoforte and offering sweeping views across the surrounding countryside and toward the Tyrrhenian coast.

The village has origins dating back to the Middle Ages and was successively controlled by the Aldobrandeschi family, local feudal lords, the Republic of Siena, and later the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. Known for its strong connection to the dramatic volcanic rock on which it was built, Roccatederighi features narrow stone streets, historic houses, medieval gateways, sections of ancient defensive walls, and the remains of a fortress overlooking the village.

A clock tower and the churches of San Martino and San Sebastiano add to its historic charm. Today, Roccatederighi is appreciated for its authentic atmosphere, beautiful panoramas, and well-preserved character.
