Route 62 is a long and scenic road that stretches between Cape Town and Gqeberha (formerly called Port Elizabeth) in South Africa. This route is known as one of the most beautiful drives in the country and is often compared to America's Route 66 because of the charming small towns and landscapes it passes through.

The road covers about 850 kilometers and goes through some of the Western Cape’s best countryside. As you drive along Route 62, you travel through towns such as Montagu, Barrydale, Ladismith, Calitzdorp, Oudtshoorn, and Robertson.
