Ruino is a small historic village in the Oltrepò Pavese hills of Lombardy, in northern Italy.

Surrounded by green hills, forests, and meadows, it occupies a scenic position near the Tidone Valley and is known for its peaceful rural landscape and panoramic views. Until 2019, it was an independent municipality, after which it became part of the municipality of Colli Verdi. The area has a long history dating back to the Middle Ages, when it was associated with the bishops of Bobbio and later with noble families such as the Landi and Dal Verme.

Several hamlets preserve historic landmarks, including the Dal Verme castle at Torre degli Alberi and the Sanctuary of Montelungo, an important local religious site. Today, Ruino is appreciated for its traditional character, historic churches, and natural beauty.
