St. Michael's Fortress is a historic medieval fortress that stands on a steep hill above the old town of Šibenik, Croatia.

As the central part of the city's fortification system, it played a crucial role in defending Šibenik and is closely linked to the city's origins, with the earliest written mention of Šibenik in 1066 believed to be connected to the fortress. Named after the former Church of St. Michael that once stood within its walls, the fortress has been rebuilt and expanded several times over the centuries due to wars, sieges, and natural disasters.

Its strategic position overlooking the bay and the mouth of the Krka River made it one of the most important strongholds on the Adriatic coast. Today, St. Michael's Fortress is one of Šibenik’s most famous landmarks. Restored in 2014, it combines historic architecture with a modern open-air performance venue and offers spectacular panoramic views of the city, coastline, and surrounding islands.
