Torre di Tricosto is the surviving tower of the historic Castello di Tricosto, a medieval fortified settlement in the countryside near Capalbio in southern Tuscany.

The castle was established in the 12th century during the period of widespread castle-building in the Maremma and was successively controlled by the Abbey of Tre Fontane, the Aldobrandeschi family, and the Orsini before being destroyed by the Republic of Siena in 1417. Over time, much of the original fortress disappeared, but the tower remained as a notable reminder of the site's medieval past.

After centuries of decline and abandonment, the historic complex underwent restoration and conservation work in the 21st century, helping preserve its architectural and cultural value. Today, Torre di Tricosto is recognized as a landmark of the Tuscan Maremma, admired for its historic character, stone architecture, and picturesque setting amid rolling countryside not far from Capalbio and the coast.
