The Tower of Talamonaccio is a historic coastal watchtower located on a rocky promontory near Talamone and Orbetello on Tuscany’s Maremma coast.

Built in the late 16th century as part of a network of coastal defenses, it was designed to protect the area from pirate and enemy raids while monitoring maritime routes along the Tyrrhenian Sea. Perched high above the sea, the tower offers spectacular panoramic views of the Argentario Peninsula, the Tuscan Archipelago, and the surrounding coastline.

Its dramatic setting and historic architecture make it one of the most recognizable landmarks in the area. Today, the Tower of Talamonaccio is valued for its historical significance and stunning natural surroundings. It is also known internationally as a filming location for the James Bond movie Quantum of Solace, which helped bring wider attention to this picturesque corner of Tuscany.
