Burg Sommeregg is a medieval castle near Seeboden in Carinthia, Austria, built likely in the 12th century.

It served as the seat of the Lords and Burgraves of Sommeregg and was an important administrative and military center for various noble families including the Counts of Ortenburg, Celje, and later the Habsburgs. The castle endured significant events such as devastation by Hungarian forces in 1487 and subsequent rebuilding by Virgil von Graben.

From the 16th century, it passed to the Khevenhüller family and later other noble owners. Today, Burg Sommeregg houses one of Central Europe's largest torture museums, offering exhibits on medieval justice and punishment, and serves as a cultural venue with medieval-themed events and a restaurant, attracting visitors interested in history and the region's heritage amidst picturesque mountain surroundings.
