Burgruine Krems is a medieval castle ruin in the Austrian state of Styria, situated above the town of Voitsberg near the Jais River.

The site began as a simple hilltop fortification in the 11th or 12th century and over time was expanded into a more substantial castle that helped control the surrounding territory and important local roads. After centuries of use it gradually fell into disrepair, and today only the fortified remains of the bergfried and outer walls are preserved, forming a compact yet atmospheric ruin that visitors can explore on foot high above the town. 

The complex is recognized as a protected monument and is one of the better‑known historical sites in the Voitsberg area, combining a long strategic history with a striking hillside location.
