Schloss Burgstall, located in the village of Wies in southern Styria, Austria, is a historic castle originally known as Lackenberg and first documented in 1280, with a likely foundation dating to the late 12th century.

The castle was granted in 1240 by Emperor Frederick II to Kunigund, the daughter of the knight Albert von Purchstall. Over the centuries, it was owned by various noble families, including the Habsburgs and the von Eibiswalds, who remodeled it between 1578 and 1594, giving it its Renaissance four-wing layout around a courtyard and a three-story arcaded gallery.

The property passed through several hands, eventually coming to the Liechtenstein family until the early 20th century. In 1954, it was purchased by the state of Styria and converted into an agricultural vocational school, which it remains today.
