Balka Strand is the most popular beach on Bornholm, Denmark, stretching several kilometers with very fine white sand and shallow, calm waters that are ideal for children to play safely. The beach is sheltered from the prevailing summer west winds, making the water warm and enjoyable for swimming, though one must walk out quite far to reach deeper water.

Balka Strand starts near the village of Snogebæk, which offers shops and restaurants, and extends to the area of Balka, where there are facilities like a kiosk, toilets, parking, and a miniature golf course. During the peak season, lifeguards are on duty, and visitors can rent water bikes, windsurfing gear, and deck chairs.

The beach is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities, thanks to a specially designed ramp providing easy access to the water's edge. The surrounding area includes walking trails through pine forests, creating a relaxing environment for holidays focused on family and water activities.
