Sorgenfri Palace is a historic royal residence located in Kongens Lyngby, just north of Copenhagen, Denmark.

The current Baroque-style palace was built in 1756–1757 and has long been associated with the Danish royal family, serving as a summer residence for several monarchs and royal relatives. The palace stands on the site of an earlier country house and is surrounded by extensive landscaped grounds designed in the English Romantic style.

Its elegant architecture, peaceful setting, and royal connections have made it an important part of Denmark’s cultural heritage. Although the palace itself is generally not open to the public, the surrounding park can be visited and is popular for walks and recreation. Today, Sorgenfri Palace remains a notable symbol of Denmark’s royal history and architectural tradition.
