Arboretum de la Tuillière

The Arboretum de la Tuillière is a private 8.5-to-9-hectare tree garden located in Le Soulet d'Ayen, near Ayen in the Corrèze department of southwestern France.

Created in 1990 by Ineke Vink and Koos Slob, it features an impressive collection of about 1,500 to 1,600 different species and varieties of trees and shrubs, each with educational labels for identification. The site includes several century-old trees such as lilacs, mountain ashes, hornbeams, ashes, and oak trees, along with five ponds where geese and ducks live.

Scattered throughout the walking paths are various sculptures and art objects that enhance the natural beauty of the park. The arboretum is open to visitors free of charge for self-guided visits, typically from 10:00 to 19:00, and takes about one hour to explore. It is situated less than 5 kilometers from Saint-Robert and near Brive-la-Gaillarde, offering a peaceful setting for relaxation and discovery of extraordinary plant richness and biodiversity.
