Arboretum de la Vallée aux Loups

The Arboretum de la Vallée aux Loups is a botanical park of about 12–13 hectares in Châtenay‑Malabry, on the western edge of the Paris region, set within the larger Domaine départemental de la Vallée‑aux‑Loups.

Created in the 18th century and later expanded, it holds some 500 different species of trees and shrubs, making it a peaceful green haven for walks and nature lovers just a short distance from the city. The site combines cultivated gardens, a pond, small bridges, and romantic‑style landscaping along with several historic garden features, and it is nowadays free and open to the public on a daily basis with varying seasonal hours.
