Arboretum du Chêne-Vert is a 3-hectare private arboretum and botanical garden located at Le Chêne Vert, 16150 Chabanais in the Charente department of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France, just off the Route de Limoges between Angoulême and Limoges beside the Vienne River.

Created in 1977 by Jean-Louis Vignaud, who transformed his six-acre family property from market garden produce into a natural landscaping space, the arboretum was especially developed from 1985 onward and has become the largest botanical collection in Poitou-Charentes with approximately 2,500 to 3,000 species of trees, shrubs, and perennials in adaptation or acclimatation study.

The landscape-style arboretum features extensive collections including 102 maple varieties, 60 oak varieties, 60 pine varieties, 40 magnolia varieties, 40 birch varieties, 40 cornus varieties, 75 hybrid rose varieties, 60 lonicera varieties, plus excellent collections of Hamamelidaceae, Styracaceae, and Stewartia, as well as herbs, ferns, bulbs, and flowers, all requiring only natural cultivation without intensive care.
