Arboretum du Massif des Agriers

The Arboretum du Massif des Agriers is a 4-to-6-hectare tree garden located within the expansive 600-hectare Massif des Agriers forest near Lamazière-Haute and Eygurande in the Corrèze department of southwestern France.

Created in 1982, it features a collection of about 60 different species of both coniferous and deciduous trees planted across the site. The arboretum sits at an altitude of 825 meters within a forested mountain massif that includes moorland and heather, reaching its highest point at the Puy du Vareyron which culminates at 915 meters.

The surrounding forest offers a rich and diverse landscape with a mix of deciduous and pine trees, along with open spaces of heather-covered land. Visitors can explore the arboretum freely on self-guided visits, and the area also features hiking trails, mountain bike paths, a sports course, an orientation table at the summit with spectacular 360-degree views, and a fire reserve pond.
