The Botanical Conservatory Pierre Fabre, also known as Jardin botanique Pierre Fabre du Bosc dal Mas or Conservatoire botanique Pierre Fabre, is a private botanical garden and conservatory located at 156 Route de Soual in Cambounet-sur-le-Sor, Tarn, Occitania, France, maintained by the nonprofit Institut Klorane.
Established by Pierre Fabre, who acquired Klorane (a soap company) in 1965 and built it into a major commercial success, he created the nonprofit Institut Klorane in 1994 to protect the environment, and the garden and conservatory opened in 2001 at his hometown of Castres with missions of scientific study, preservation of endangered species, and public education.
Today the conservatory houses nearly 1,000 plant species, including over 300 endangered species, with emphasis on medicinal, cosmetic, and edible plants. The site includes a former mansion, conservatory greenhouses, and a 5,000 m² outdoor garden, with the greenhouse featuring a tropical room (120 species), Mediterranean room, and arid room for cacti and succulents.
