Château de Bazouges is a historic castle on the banks of the Loir River in Bazouges-Cré-sur-Loir, western France.

Originally built in the 11th century as a fortress to defend the region of Anjou, it was extensively strengthened during the 15th century in response to the conflicts of the Hundred Years’ War. Over the following centuries, the medieval stronghold was gradually transformed into a more comfortable Renaissance residence while retaining many of its defensive features.

Visitors can still see elements such as towers with machicolations, moats, a drawbridge, a fortified gatehouse, and a chapel, alongside elegant residential buildings and gardens. Today, the château is a protected historic monument and remains privately owned by the descendants of the family that acquired it in 1910. Its combination of medieval military architecture, Renaissance additions, and scenic riverside setting makes it one of the notable heritage sites in the Loir Valley.
