Château de Beaugency is a historic Loire Valley castle in the medieval town of Beaugency, with origins dating back to the 11th century.

Originally built by the Lords of Beaugency to oversee an important crossing of the Loire River, it later belonged to the French Crown and the Dukes of Orléans. The château is closely associated with Jean de Dunois, a companion of Joan of Arc, who restored and expanded the residence during the 15th century. Over the centuries, notable historical figures including Joan of Arc, Louis XI, and Francis I were connected with the castle and the town.

Today, Château de Beaugency combines medieval and Renaissance architecture with modern cultural experiences. It is known as a digital art center, where immersive light and multimedia installations bring the site’s thousand years of history to life while preserving its historic towers, chapel, courtyard, and gardens.
