The Château de la Roche-Jagu is a 15th-century fortified house in Ploëzal, Côtes-d'Armor department, Brittany, France, dramatically positioned above the Trieux River estuary.
Built around 1420 by the Péan family during turbulent times and later owned by the Acigné and Richelieu lines, it was restored by the Côtes-d'Armor departmental council after acquiring it in 1958, transforming it into a cultural hub.
Surrounded by 30 hectares of remarkable gardens—including medieval-inspired designs, a roseraie, chênaie woodland, and themed areas like water and Oriental motifs by landscape architect Bertrand Paulet—it hosts temporary art exhibitions, concerts, and events year-round with stunning river panoramas.
