Château de Laval is a historic castle overlooking the Mayenne River in the city of Laval, western France.

Founded in the 11th century by the Lords of Laval, the fortress played a central role in the development of the city and remains its most iconic landmark. The complex combines the medieval Vieux-Château (Old Castle) with the Renaissance-era Château-Neuf (New Castle), reflecting centuries of architectural evolution.

Notable features include a Romanesque chapel, an impressive keep topped by a rare 13th-century wooden defensive structure, and elegant Renaissance additions built in the 16th century. Today, the castle is a protected historic monument and a major cultural attraction.
