Château de Lesdiguières is a Renaissance-era castle located in Le Glaizil in the French Alps.

It was built around 1580 by François de Bonne, Duke of Lesdiguières, a prominent military leader who later became the last Constable of France. The château was designed to reflect his power and status and included an elegant chapel added in the early 17th century. The castle remained largely intact until 1692, when troops associated with the Duke of Savoy devastated the region and set the building on fire.

It suffered further damage during the French Revolution, when tombs were desecrated and parts of the estate were looted. Today, only impressive ruins remain, but they still convey the scale and significance of the original complex. Protected as a historic monument since 1978, Château de Lesdiguières is valued as an important reminder of the region’s Renaissance architecture and turbulent history.
