Château de Montaiguillon is a ruined medieval fortress located in Louan-Villegruis-Fontaine in the Seine-et-Marne department of France.

Built in the late 12th century, it occupied a strategic position near an important trade route linking the regions of Champagne and Île-de-France, serving as a key defensive stronghold during the Middle Ages. The castle played a role in several historical conflicts, including the Hundred Years’ War. It changed hands multiple times, was occupied by military and religious orders, and was eventually recaptured from the English in 1433.

In 1613, King Louis XIII ordered the fortress to be dismantled to prevent it from being used in future rebellions, leaving much of it in ruins. Today, the remains of Montaiguillon are among the most impressive medieval ruins in the region. Although privately owned, the site is protected as a historic monument and is valued for preserving much of its original medieval character, including its towers and defensive walls.
