Château des Templiers, also known as the Château de Gréoux-les-Bains, is a medieval castle that overlooks the spa town of Gréoux-les-Bains in Provence.

Although it is commonly called the “Templars’ Castle,” historians have found no evidence that it ever belonged to the Knights Templar. Instead, it was owned by the Counts of Provence and later by the Hospitallers of Saint John of Jerusalem. The castle was built between the 12th and 17th centuries and combines defensive and residential features, including a square keep, a round tower, and fortified walls around a central courtyard.

Over time, it evolved from a military stronghold into a more comfortable noble residence. Today, the château is a protected historic monument and one of the most recognizable landmarks in the region. It hosts cultural events and exhibitions, allowing visitors to explore its rich history while enjoying views over the surrounding Provençal landscape.
