Château d'Ingrandes is a medieval fortress in the commune of Ingrandes in France's Indre department, Centre-Val de Loire region, perched above the Anglin River about 7 km west of Le Blanc in the Parc Naturel Régional de la Brenne.
Built on a Roman castrum site from the 11th century and rebuilt in the 14th-15th centuries with a circular donjon, four corner towers, and a central staircase tower, it features preserved walls, courtines, and a unique 1465 wooden hourd reconstructed in 2005, inscribed as a historic monument in 1987 and extended in 2020.
Owned by Alain and Jacqueline Drouart since 1982, it's undergone over 35 years of restoration and now operates as a bed-and-breakfast with an outdoor pool, garden, and river views, blending history with hospitality.
