Château de Dinan, also known as the Donjon de la Duchesse Anne, is a prominent 14th-century medieval castle in the historic town of Dinan, Brittany, France, built around 1382 by Duke John IV of Montfort after his return from exile to assert control over the strategically important city.

Originally a massive 34-meter-high tower-palace formed by two round towers joined by a central block, it featured a moat, drawbridge, and machicolations for defense, while interiors included kitchens, halls, chambers, and a spiral staircase, blending military strength with residential comfort.​

Enlarged in the late 16th century by Philippe Emmanuel de Mercœur through the addition of the nearby Porte du Guichet and Tour de Coëtquen, it played key defensive roles during the Wars of Religion and later served as a prison until 1904, with its roof replaced by a terrace in the 18th century.

Today, the castle offers visitors panoramic views from its ramparts, exhibits on medieval weapons and local history, and insights into Breton ducal life, standing as a well-preserved symbol amid Dinan's timbered houses and walls.
