Espace botanique du Frasnois is a botanical garden located in the village of La Fromagerie near Le Frasnois in the Jura department of Franche-Comté, eastern France, at coordinates 46°37′08″N 5°52′53″E in the Montagne du Jura region.
The garden was created in 1997 by Christian Monneret, a private individual passionate about botany and phytotherapy, and consists of three distinct parts: a botanical garden proper featuring medicinal plants and a rock garden with a pond, an 800-meter botanical nature trail displaying about 250 species labeled with Latin and French names, and an indoor botanical exhibition showcasing plants from the lake region.
The garden focuses on herbs and medicinal plants, containing approximately 150 plants with explanations of their therapeutic qualities alongside a total of more than 300 plant species, and is sponsored by the Botanical Gardens of France and Francophone Countries. Open daily from mid-May to the end of September with free admission and guided visits available, the site offers a bar, parking, and light meal services, making it an accessible destination for learning about regional flora and medicinal plant uses in the natural setting of the Jura mountains.
