The Jardin Exotique de Ponteilla is a unique 3-hectare tropical oasis and botanical garden located in Ponteilla, Pyrénées-Orientales, France, just 10 minutes from Perpignan.

Created in 1991 on the ruins of an old vineyard farm and opened to the public in 1994, this exotic garden features more than 1,400 to 1,800 varieties of rare and exotic plants from around the world, including cacti, palm trees, bamboo, eucalyptus, and carnivorous plants.

The garden offers a sensory and educational experience for the whole family with a fun explorer route featuring puzzles and challenges for children aged 3 and up, treasure hunts, mini trampolines, mini treetops, zip lines, pedal karts (Karting Aventure Jeep), and even a new2024 tirolienne (zipline). The park is open during warmer months from early April to early November with daily hours from 11 AM to 6 PM, and admission fees are family-friendly with reduced prices for children and free entry for toddlers. 

Special attractions include exclusive nighttime visits with colorful paths and dark zones to experience nature's mysteries, shaded relaxation areas, and educational workshops about insects, making it an ideal day trip destination for families seeking nature, discovery, and fun in a depaysant (exotic) setting.
