France, France
Le Fréchou is a small village in southwestern France, located in the Lot-et-Garonne department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region with a postal code of 47600 and approximately 200–212 residents.
The village originated around a 13th-century Gascon-style château and the Saint-Christophe church, with its name deriving from the Latin word "fraxinus" meaning ash tree, which grew abundantly in the nearby Osse River valley. The château, partially listed as a historical monument, includes a main building, two towers, a donjon, a pigeon tower, and an entrance gate, while the village also features a Roman pont-barrage (dam bridge) on the Osse River with three high arches that regulates water flow to a mill.
