Le Guildo is a small historic area within the commune of Créhen in Brittany, best known for the impressive ruins of the Château du Guildo overlooking the Arguenon estuary.

Its strategic position on a rocky promontory made it an important medieval stronghold controlling both land and sea routes. The Château du Guildo was first developed between the 12th and 13th centuries and was later rebuilt and expanded after conflicts such as the Breton War of Succession.

Over the centuries it served as both a noble residence and a defensive fortress before suffering destruction during the late 15th century. Today, Le Guildo is valued for its scenic natural setting, medieval heritage, and archaeological importance. Visitors come to enjoy the castle ruins, panoramic views across the estuary, and the tranquil coastal landscapes of northern Brittany.
