The Lyon Botanical Garden, officially called Jardin botanique de Lyon or Jardin botanique du Parc de la Tête d'Or, is an 8-hectare (20-acre) municipal botanical garden located in Parc de la Tête d'Or in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon, France, and is France's largest municipal botanical garden.

Established in 1857 as a successor to earlier botanical gardens from 1796, it contains about 15,000 to nearly 16,000 plant species, including 3,500 temperate plants, 760 shrub species, around 100 wild rose species, 750 historical rose varieties, 1,800 alpine plant species, 50 water lily varieties, and 6,000 species in its greenhouses.

The garden features 5,650 to 6,000 square meters of greenhouses (France's largest greenhouse complex), including tropical greenhouses with carnivorous and aquatic plants, a library, herbarium, seed shop, and scientific research facility. It holds one of Europe's richest collections with national collections of araceae, begoniaceae, and bromeliaceae, plus a renowned international rose garden with over 30,000 roses from 350 varieties, some made in Lyon, and 600 peony varieties recognized as a French national collection.
