Méry Castle (Château de Méry-sur-Oise) is a historic château located on the banks of the Oise River about 30 kilometers north of Paris.

Although its present appearance mainly dates from the Renaissance and Classical periods, the site has much older origins, beginning with a monastic settlement and later a medieval fortress that played a role during the Hundred Years’ War. A new château was built in the late 14th century by Pierre d’Orgemont, Chancellor of France, and over the following centuries it was rebuilt and enlarged by successive owners.

The property became known for its elegant architecture, landscaped grounds, and connections to French nobility and royal history. Today, the château is recognized as an important historic monument and is surrounded by a large park with ponds and gardens. Its blend of Renaissance and Classical design, together with its long and varied history, makes it one of the notable heritage landmarks of the Val-d’Oise region.
