Saint-Brieuc is the capital of the Côtes-d’Armor department in Brittany, northwestern France.

Located on the Bay of Saint-Brieuc along the English Channel, it is a vibrant coastal city with a population of over 44,000 and serves as an important administrative, commercial, and cultural center for the region. The city is named after Saint Brioc, a Welsh monk who helped Christianize the area in the early Middle Ages.

It is renowned for its historic center, where visitors can find charming half-timbered houses, narrow streets, and the impressive fortified Saint-Étienne Cathedral, one of Brittany’s most distinctive religious monuments. Saint-Brieuc is also known for its natural surroundings, particularly the Bay of Saint-Brieuc, one of the largest bays in France.
