Tancarville is a small town in Normandy, near the mouth of the Seine River, best known for its impressive medieval castle and its landmark suspension bridge.

Its strategic location overlooking the Seine made it an important defensive and trading point throughout Norman history. The town’s most famous historical site is the Château de Tancarville, an 11th-century castle built on a cliff above the river.
